http://www.whosdatedwho.com/fashion/look_view.asp?ID=9911 The image of Pink is taken from the website above. We don't want our collection to look like Fancy dress but we have looked at this image to take inspiration for styles of dresses. I love the enlarged use of coloured spots and pom poms. I also think the puffy base to the dress is interesting. It is built up using layers of tulle.
The other images are of my housemate. I uploaded these as I was interested in how she portrayed a clown. Her choice of a dotted dress was interesting and how she has applied her makeup. I love the detail to the eye area.

This image gives us hair and makeup ideas but more for a innocent feel. but looking very styled and well presented.

this is another way we could take the shoot giving it more of a commercial look to it, the funky colours go well with the circus theme.

as we want our shoot to look funky but still with a good style we thought the above picture would inspire the big hair look and the eye lashes could be part of the extravagant makeup.

as a group we took a trip to the fancy dress shop and looked into clown costumes that were already there. we also wanted to take inspiration from the detailing, shaping and accessories that could be included in our shoot, but made into our own style.
A quirky poka dot dress could be a feature idea in one of the photos taken.

here are a few masks we saw in the fancy dress shop that we could take inspiration from as part of our photo shoot, the glamorous look gives off a show style.

Catwalk circus

Etros used a circus theme for there 40Th anniversary in Tokyo. Stilts, dressed up animals and clowns all set in a big top. Its not to different from the scene set by the Circus Du Soleil.
